A freelance film director with experience on both sides of the fence;
Kieran started as an in-house creative for one of the largest supermarket brands in the UK. He then spent 6 years in advertising agencies before turning to filmmaking in 2019.
After spending the next 5 years building Manchester's fastest growing production company, he sold his half of the business and exited in December 2024. He now focuses fully on writing & directing commercial films for TV, social and OOH campaigns.
Kieran's core proposition is directing commercial films for Food, Sports and Lifestyle brands. His background in advertising gives him a unique understanding of why he's making a film - allowing for informed creative decisions along the way. It's this unique perspective which has led him to direct films for global brands, with seasoned celebrities, across 10 different countries to date.
Kieran conceptualises, develops and writes creative concepts for commercial advertising campaigns. Whether it's dramatic table-top ads, comedy gold or a spot that pulls on more (heart) strings than the Royal Philharmonic, he's got a knack for writing on-brand (and on budget) scripts that sell.
After 10 years in the game, and five of them owning a production company, Kieran learned a few ways to keep costs low and production value high. This comes in handy for smaller teams who need support on producing or operational processes.

With 60% of Kieran's career so far being in Food & Drink, he's well versed in developing and directing concepts that get the best out of FMCG and retail brand products. And across the last 5 years, he's widening that reach into Sports and Lifestyle spots - leading talented actors to deliver memorable performances that are tailored for screens of all sizes.
